An Affordable Luxury is sometimes very big or it can be quite small. And some are more affordable than others. For example, a diamond ring is one of our smaller, less affordable luxuries. But here is one of my favorites, and its an easy way to keep the Christmas holidays in your mind throughout the entire year too.
Fireballs!
Just pop an Atomic Fireball into your mouth and for the next 15 minutes, the flavor and memories of Christmas are with you. That super strong burst of cinnamon flavor can brighten any day, but whatever you do, don’t bite it, after all they used to be called jaw breakers back in the day! I think of these Fireballs (I bought 5 pounds of them (Amazon) as an affordable luxury, something that I don’t need but really appreciate because of what they do for me.
In a similar but much larger sense, I feel the same way when I look at any of our workstations that are scattered throughout our home/showroom. They always make me realize that what we make is so refreshing, so innovative and yet so extremely simple. But there is a major problem with what we produce. It is expensive. Making heirloom quality pieces of furniture that can completely hide ALL the appliances is quite costly and unfortunately, we’ve found that it is out of reach for many budgets. Just like the deliciously simple Fireball with its (don’t bite me) problem, our beautiful workstations have their own price accessibility problem.
There certainly are ways to reduce costs, but we just can’t sacrifice quality and service in any way. In fact as the quality of our products has increased in recent years, our manufacturing prices have stayed the same. But even while purchasing only one workstation (like the complete mini-kitchen shown above) can be quite affordable, its shipping cost can immediately blow a tight budget!
So from now on, we are going to position our products as Luxury items. After all, nobody NEEDS to hide all the appliances, or furnish their kitchen with super efficient workstations instead of installing typical built-in cabinetry. But for those who value those attributes and realize that there is an extra cost involved, YesterTec’s products will continue to offer high quality and lasting value at a fair price. So if you are looking for an inspired kitchen design that no one you know has or needs, and you have a budget that can go beyond the cost of normal kitchen cabinetry, then YesterTec’s workstations are a luxury that you can afford. No, a YesterTec Kitchen is not a luxury in the same class as a private airplane, yacht or Mercedes SUV, all products that few people actually NEED. And no, a YesterTec kitchen cannot compete with the prices at IKEA or of any other mass produced product. But none of those products can match what YesterTec Workstations can do either. However, YesterTec’s products are affordable if you are looking for innovation, efficiency, quality and beauty.
