We’ve created our Base and Island Modules, as a major addition to our unique line of Stealth Kitchen Modules™, so that you can combine them with our full height modules to create even more amazing Stealth Kitchens.
Our full height Stealth Kitchen Modules™ (SKM), that can conceal entire kitchens including all of the appliances, are designed to be placed against a wall of at least 80” in height. But for kitchen designs that require a work island with an exposed sink or perhaps a downdraft gas cooktop, we have (in the past) combined these full height modules with countertop high pieces from our Kitchen Workstation Furniture (KWF) line, or even custom designs as shown above. These kitchen designs combine concealed full height refrigerators, double ovens and pantry modules with countertop high island workstations that can handle many kitchen functions.
But our more intricately detailed KWF line sometimes can not match up well with the more streamlined SKM line. Especially for those who want the minimalist look Stealth kitchens can achieve so well.
So now we are introducing Base and Island Modules that complement the detailing of the larger SKM pieces so that they can integrate flawlessly into one cohesive design. These new Modules can still conceal dishwashers, under counter refrigerators as well as ovens (utilizing YesterTec’s U.L. Listed technology), but cooktops and most sinks are exposed to view.
The detailing of the Base and Island Modules is understated to complement the styling of the full height units, and their door and drawer panels can match or contrast with the larger units as well.
The new 29″ deep Modules even include Mini-kitchens that only require 6 feet of width and can fit underneath windows or against a wall with a flat screen TV above it. These modules are great for the extended stay hotel rooms, the executive suite or any residential use that needs a kitchen to virtually disappear.
As shown above, this 6 foot wide UK72B-OCRS mini-kitchen made of quarter sawn white oak features a flush mounted 2 burner induction cooktop, a concealed sink under a removable cutting board, a concealed refrigerator/freezer/icemaker and a concealed convection/microwave oven. It also has 3 drawers and an optional pop-up countertop extension that can be used as prep space or as eating counter. This piece can also include a downdraft telescoping exhaust vent.
The pop-up table is actually the side panel of the mini-kitchen that lifts up and slow closes down. For the commercial units, the sink and faucet can even disappear beneath a lift up and slow close section of the countertop.
An 8 foot wide mini-kitchen, UK96B-OCRSV(D) can include a concealed single drawer dishwasher and two more large storage drawers and a downdraft telescoping exhaust vent.
Another module, C72B-OCV can conceal a 30” wall oven and include a 30” cooktop with a downdraft telescoping exhaust vent. A similar module, the C72B-24-OCS has a sink, 24” wide cooktop and a 24” oven concealed below. The Hospitality Base or Island Modules like the HC50B-24 eliminate the cooking features but retain a small sink and a concealed under-counter refrigerator. Other Base Modules are more simply designed to provide abundant countertop and storage space.
